sautéed garlicky spinach

The veggie side dish in all the land has to be this one. Spinach sautéed with garlic and a little salt & pep is always so refreshing and also very healthy, I always keep a container of pre-washed spinach in my refrigerator because it will always go to use either in a smoothie, an omelette, a lunch salad, or as a hot veggie side like this one!

Recipe by: The Culinary Nest

MAKES

2 servings (this may seem crazy with the amount of spinach used but it really wilts down when cooked)

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

2 garlic cloves, minced

Extra virgin olive oil

Salt & pepper

  • Every minute or so, mix the spinach around until it is all wilted.

  • Season the spinach with salt and pepper to taste. Add some crushed red pepper if desired for a little heat.

  • You’re done! Serve it up and enjoy!
