asian dipping sauce or dressing

Get ready for you new go to Asian dipping sauce that you will want to always have on hand! It hits all the right notes from savory, sweet, salty & spicy (the spice level can be adjusted to your liking) AND It takes close to no time to put together. This is the perfect dressing for bowls, salads, pour over veggies, as a dipping sauce and anything else you can imagine. The green onion adds a fresh addition with the garlic & ginger… just trust me.

MAKES

6 servings

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 30 minutes


INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup soy sauce (*replace with tamari for a GF version)

1/3 cup rice wine vinegar

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, more or less to desired spice level

1 tablespoon honey or sugar

2 scallions, finely chopped

3-4 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons ginger, minced

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 lemon or lime, squeezed


METHOD

  1. In a jar or mixing bowl, mix all ingredients and shake or whisk well until thoroughly Incorporated. Let sit for 30 minutes.

This recipe can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks, the longer it sits the better it gets!
