Hi! I’m chef megan Lavigne, it is truly my pleasure to meet you.

Megan LaVigne is a self-taught chef, lifestyle collaborator, culinary photographer, sought-after media personality and brand collaborator. She is the founder of The Culinary Nest, LLC. which was established in 2017. On top of all of that, she is an aspiring media creator, host and producer with a major project currently in the works for 2023. 

She is passionate about all thing’s food and entertaining with a commitment to creating meaningful connection, community and relationships. Her tenacious free spirit and relentless work ethic has driven Megan to follow her life’s purpose of always being the example to live life fully, joyfully and enriched. 

As a winning contestant on The Food Network’s Supermarket Stakeout (Season 4, Episode: Vacation Nation), Megan is building national recognition for her innovative and creative approach to recipe creation. 

Megan has taken some of her life setbacks and used them as a springboard for reinvention, reconnection and getting into touch with her formerly unrealized passion: FOOD. She is an example to truly go after what you want out of life and to simply get into action. With the philosophy of courageously starting from where you are and figuring it all out along the way, she is a true example of powerful vulnerability and the willingness to be real. 

She is currently the face of the newly launched Skinny Butcher brand as well as the company’s Chief Brand Ambassador and continues to have national and local brand collaborations with various companies such as Maker’s Mark. 

As an avid traveler, Megan speaks on cultural recipe creation, culinary aesthetics, sustainability, creating a successful business, moving forward through loss and life’s unforeseen obstacles, living a balanced life with boundaries and storytelling. 

Megan is a Michigan born native and currently resides in Birmingham, Michigan with her goldendoodle, Reece.
