On this episode of My Metropolitan Kitchen, I visit Bløm Meadworks in Ann Arbor, Michigan and speak with owner, Lauren Bloom. We talk mead, her products and all about how she got started in the business along with her partner. Then we take a can of their incredible mead back to the kitchen to make a delicious Pear and Ginger Apple Crisp dessert.
s1 e4: the farmers market
To tie up this premiere season of My Metropolitan Kitchen, we take a stroll through the Downtown Farmer’s Market of Ann Arbor. Open year-round (yes, even in the winter months!) Check out the wide variety of local vendors and then take our haul back to the kitchen to whip up one of my all time favorites, Caramelized Onion Chevre Dip.
